Why people think life won’t be the same after COVID ?

Everyone’s talking about how things are going to change forever, people aren’t gonna be the same anymore, it’d the turning point et cetera.

Well let’s look back to the years when Spanish influenza happened.

Yes, it was the very same pandemic, forced people to lock themselves into their homes. And it’s not so old yet, just a century back and now just 1 percent of the world’s population is aware of any pandemic like that. No-one remembers the death count, obviously it does not the one who lost their loved ones in those scorching years, but the people who barely talked about that.

Everything was same back then.

  • People had to wear mask.
  • Whole cities were under lockdown.
  • People were quarantined.
  • Scarcity of beds and resources.
  • And a lot of deaths (sadly we learn nothing from past).

One argument can come forward that no-one of that decade is even alive now. But did it really change the lives of the people who somehow managed to live after that?

The answer is a big NO. Because that never happens, it may hurt to not to see the ones we used to see everyday, it may also feel a little strange to come out in crowd again but it’s all going to be the very same.

After sometime we all get used to what we have, pain and loss may persist but the things will always be as they were before.

It may take some days for you to switch back to the lifestyle you used to have before all this. But this time you’ll glow up better, you won’t be the one who was afraid to take chances and you’ll able to overcome all your fears.

And if we may say that “things aren’t going to be the same" then I suggest-

“Change things for better this time”

But don’t agree with the fact that life’s never going to be the same. It’ll always be the way it was as this is the rule of nature. We’re in a constant cycle

“What goes, comes around”

After this is over, you’re going to run for your ride the same, you’re going to be late again, you’re gonna be tired again and demand some holidays back, you’re gonna make some trips around the globe, and everyone’s gonna be together in filthy crowds AGAIN.

So how does it sound to you? Different or the very same we used to live.

Decide yourself as you’re the one who needed some changes not the life itself. It flows like a smooth river to meet its final destination.

And the people who have lost someone in their life will gather the courage to cross every hardships of life.

Turn your loss into your strengths and ride the wave.

If you’re not enough convinced, then give a read to
Maybe this lockdown wasn’t that bad
